A delicious mountain ham
Our walnut ham is made from the pig's nut, the part of the thigh also known as the 'flake': it is one of the most prized and leanest cuts of the pig, with only a little fat under the rind.
With artisanal processing from these quality meats we obtain a raw ham with an authentic flavour, cured for weeks with the help of nature, boneless and protected by a light sheet of natural gut in the part uncovered by the rind. A typical cured meat product from Valtellina, with a marked mountain imprint.
