Ricotta

High altitude dairy product, cow or goat, with fresh mountain milk

Alpe Livigno ricotta, always fresh and good

Along with cheese, we also produce ricotta, a dairy delicacy prepared from whey. To prepare it, our cheesemakers use the whey from the milk of our Livigno cows, or from goats in the case of goat's ricotta: there are no other secrets to the goodness of this very fresh, soft and delicate dairy product, with its creamy consistency and slightly sour flavour reminiscent of milk. Precisely because of its absolute freshness, Alpe Livigno mountain ricotta should be consumed within 5 days.
