Valle delle Mine is perhaps the most unspoilt and authentic of Livigno's side valleys, with its wonderful panorama just above 2000 metres, where one can enjoy the peace and nature of the high mountains.
Here arises the Alpe Mine hut which our family has been running since 2010: green meadows where animals graze in summer, a dairy where with the milk of our goats we produce cheese, yoghurt and alpine ice cream, a agritourism where we offer typical and traditional cuisine and the possibility of overnight stays for those who set out on these trails (hikers, bikers, groups, families with children and simple mountain and nature lovers).
This is the perfect place to discover new flavours and scents real and genuine, the way we like them.
Eating and sleeping on alpine pastures in Val delle Mine
Alpe Mine lends itself to being the destination of an exciting day trip from Livigno A walk of about an hour and a half, within everyone's reach and on a forest track, takes you to the alpine pastureland through flowering meadows and coniferous forests before enjoying the spectacular view of the valley that opens up before your eyes.
Lunch at the Alpe Mine farm is a must, at the outdoor tables on sunny summer days, with a menu full of typical dishes and alpine products made here, before relaxing in our outdoor solarium and heading back down the valley following the forest path.
Who chooses a dinner on a farm can benefit from the accompaniment of an experienced guide for the ascent and descent, or stopping to sleep in a mountain pasture in the hotel's 2 wooden rooms heated with a stove, and wake up in the morning to a hearty zero-kilometre breakfast.
