Exquisite alpine cheese from Livigno
A cheese from an altitude of 2200 metres
In the green meadows of the Alpe Mine alpine pasture, at an altitude of 2200 metres above the Livigno valley, the cows of our farm graze the green grass of this wonderful corner of the mountains in summer. From their milk, processed raw in the cheese dairy on the same site, comes, after a maturing period of at least 70 days, a hard, full-fat cheese that is distinguished by its rounded, decisive flavour, in which hints of herbs can be perceived that recall its alpine origins.
