Our products <strong>are really made like they used to be<\/strong> because it would not be possible otherwise: this is how our grandparents taught us, this is how we still do it today.<\/p>\n<p>This strong link with tradition is what prompted us to participate in the <strong>TAS'T project<\/strong>which brings together the <strong>local producers in Livigno<\/strong> with the aim of enhancing, safeguarding and <strong>disseminating Livigno's original foods and flavours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>The TAS'T project and Livigno's historical products<\/h3>\n<p>TAST means \"<strong>Timeless Alpine Tradition<\/strong>\"The project <strong>TAS'T - Livigno Native Food<\/strong> was born from the synergy between a number of Livigno associations and realities as an initiative to <strong>the protection and dissemination of Livigno's recipes<\/strong>of the oldest products and the most authentic flavours. Rediscovering the historical local gastronomic tradition and proposing it to those visiting Livigno is one of the aims of the project, which involves <strong>restaurants, accommodation facilities and producers<\/strong>including Alpe Livigno.<\/p>\n<p>I <strong>livignaschi historical products<\/strong> which are among the excellences of the TAS'T project <strong>are zero-kilometre specialities that belong to our country's tradition<\/strong>foods that have always been prepared and eaten in the homes and mountain huts of Livigno and that still today, centuries later, maintain their genuine character and close relationship with the land.<\/p>\n<p>I <strong>selected TAS'T Livigno products<\/strong> are 21 in total:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>bread and bakery products:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pan da s\u00e9al val\u00e9s<\/strong>rye bread from Livigno with aniseed;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Breciad\u00e9gl da Liv\u00ecgn<\/strong>the typical Livigno bread doughnut;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pan da carc\u00e9nt<\/strong>bread made from dried Livigno turnips;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pan da c\u00f2l<\/strong>prepared with colostrum, which makes it a sweet bread;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bisc'cot<\/strong>homemade biscuits with simple ingredients;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cake from Rosina<\/strong>, a sweet made with the local ricotta cheese (masc'ch\u00e8rpa);<\/li>\n<li><strong>T\u00f3rta da l'indom\u00e9nia<\/strong>the typical homemade Sunday cake in Livigno;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>cheeses and dairy products<\/strong>including goat cheese, butter and various Livigno alpine cheeses;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>traditional cold cuts from Livigno<\/strong>from slinziga to panc\u00e9ta.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>TAS'T Livigno cheeses and cold cuts produced by Alpe Livigno<\/h3>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full to original recipes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/alpelivigno.it\/en\/products\/beef-slinziga\/\"><strong>the slinziga of Livigno<\/strong><\/a><\/span>made from 100% Italian beef or 100% livignasca, a typical artisanal salami similar to bresaola but smaller and tastier;<\/li>\n<li><strong>the sal\u00e0m da b\u00e0ita<\/strong>the typical homemade salami from Livigno to go with rye bread;<\/li>\n<li><strong>the bondi\u00f6la<\/strong>coppa livignasca marinated in red wine;<\/li>\n<li><strong>the brasc'car\u00f2la<\/strong>a seasoned bresaola prepared with meat from Livigno cattle;<\/li>\n<li><strong>the bacon<\/strong>the tasty pancetta livignasca, matured for at least 30 days;<\/li>\n<li><strong>the bidul, <\/strong>i.e. Livigno butter, a genuine and tasty Alpine product made from mountain milk cream;<\/li>\n<li><strong>cottage cheese<\/strong> fresh from Livigno, called 'poina' in Livigno dialect;<\/li>\n<li><strong>the alpine cheese<\/strong>prepared and matured in our high altitude cheese factories;<\/li>\n<li><strong>the scimudin<\/strong>, a typical Valtellina cheese made with ingredients from Livigno.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our commitment to the preservation of tradition and authentic flavours is renewed every day and is an integral
